Dionne Sievewright

Born in 1973 in Perth, Dionne has made a significant impression with her use of vibrant layers of colour and pattern to convey the changing seasons inspired by the landscapes of Scotland, South West England and South Wales, where she now has her studio. A graduate of Duncan of Jordanstone Art School in Dundee, the influence of a short period of experience as a textile designer for the fashion house Missoni can be detected in the way she handles the foreground in much of her work, which from time to time also includes still lifes.
